At Sonbim Publishing, we are committed to delivering high-quality books, publications, and publishing services. Please read our refund policy carefully before making a purchase.

Physical Books

Refunds or replacements may be requested if:

• The book arrives damaged or defective.
• You receive the wrong item.
• Your order cannot be fulfilled.

To qualify, you must contact us within 7 days of receiving your order and provide proof of purchase along with photographs of any damaged items.

Items must be returned in their original condition unless they were received damaged.

Digital Products

Due to the nature of digital products, including eBooks, downloadable publications, templates, and other digital content, all sales are final once the download has been accessed or delivered.

Refunds may only be granted where:

• The incorrect digital product was delivered.
• The file is corrupted and cannot be replaced.
• A duplicate payment was made.

Publishing Services

Payments made for editing, formatting, cover design, ISBN registration, printing coordination, or other publishing services are generally non-refundable once work has commenced.

If a project is cancelled before work begins, a refund may be issued after deducting any administrative or processing costs already incurred.

Where work has partially been completed, any refund will be determined based on the stage of the project and services already rendered.

Order Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled before processing or shipment. Once an order has been dispatched or a service has commenced, cancellation requests may not be accepted.

Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method within 7–14 business days, depending on your financial institution.

At Sonbim Nigeria Limited, customer satisfaction is important to us. Because many of our services are professional, project-based, and customized, this Refund Policy explains when refunds may be available.

Professional Services

Payments made for consulting, engineering, procurement, project management, logistics, construction support, training, branding, creative services, or other professional services are generally non-refundable once work has commenced.

If a project is cancelled before work begins, any advance payment may be refunded after deducting costs already incurred for planning, procurement, administration, or third-party commitments.

Products and Equipment

Where Sonbim supplies products or equipment:

• Items may be eligible for replacement if received damaged, defective, or incorrect.
• Claims must be made within 7 days of delivery.
• Returned products must be unused and in their original packaging unless damaged during delivery.

Custom-made, special-order, or client-specific products are not eligible for refunds except where required by law.

Deposits

Deposits paid to secure projects, reserve production schedules, or procure materials are generally non-refundable, unless otherwise stated in a written agreement.

Project Cancellation

If a client terminates a project after work has begun, Sonbim Nigeria Limited reserves the right to retain payments corresponding to work completed, materials purchased, and expenses incurred up to the cancellation date.

Approved Refunds

Where a refund is approved, payment will be made using the original payment method within 7–14 business days, subject to banking processes.

Exceptions

Refunds will not be granted for:

• Change of mind after services have commenced.
• Delays caused by client approval processes.
• Delays resulting from force majeure or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
• Completed services delivered in accordance with the agreed scope of work.
